Os grandes homens, os bons homens, os afortunados pela integridade, pela honestidade, pela inteligência, pelo saber também morrem, mas, ao contrário dos outros são sempre recordados.
I was utterly shocked to hear this. Paulo Carvalho was a most urbane and talented man who will be sorely missed by people in academies throughout the world, not just in Portugal. The IASIL conference he helped organize at Porto in 2008 was the best I have attended. An unbelievable occurence.
